Creative Fundraising Advisors was engaged to conduct a visioning session with the Dodge Nature Center and Preschool Board of Directors and lead a feasibility study to determine a future campaign for the pioneering center. The study revealed that Dodge had the capacity to launch a much larger campaign than leaders had thought possible.
CFA created a holistic plan to launch the quiet phase of the campaign. We developed a compelling case for support and produced all campaign collateral, including a case statement, campaign video, and campaign website. Throughout the process, we provided direct support for staff and the campaign committee. We engaged donors with leadership potential in the early stages and participated in creating the strategy to solicit the lead gifts. We also produced a virtual version of Dodge’s annual gala, A Night for Nature, which marked the official launch of the campaign.
Within a year, the campaign achieved more than 70% of its goal; in fall 2020, Dodge publicly announced a $40 million goal during the A Night for Nature, which was attended by more than 600 people.
