Lena Kassicieh
Lena Kassicieh comes to CFA with a decade of experience at the intersection of communications, design, and institutional storytelling across the nonprofit and cultural sectors. As Marketing Manager, she brings fluency in digital strategy, content production, and brand communications — along with a deep commitment to mission-driven work.
Prior to joining CFA, Lena served as Manager of Communications & Publications at the US-China Business Council in Washington, DC, where she led LinkedIn strategy, managed digital metrics, produced the organization’s flagship newsletter and publications, and supported executive communications. She has also held communications and programs roles at The Africa Institute in Sharjah, UAE; Art Dubai; the Queen Rania Foundation in Amman; and the University of New Mexico Health Sciences.
Lena holds an MSc in Cultural and Social Anthropology from the University of Amsterdam and a BA in International Relations from the University of New Mexico.
Outside of work, she maintains a multidisciplinary art practice spanning illustration, ceramics, collage, and independent publishing, and is the founder of Daftar Asfar, a traveling sketchbook project based in the Middle East that has passed through more than 120 artists internationally.
