We worked with museum leaders to raise more than $50 million within three months through the naming of the Saban Building. The campaign has reached its $388 million goal with the final $25M being secured against the backdrop of the pandemic. Designed by Pritzker Prize-winner Renzo Piano, the Academy Museum opened in fall 2021 to great acclaim. It is the world’s premier institution dedicated to the art and science of movies. The Academy Museum will tell complete stories of moviemaking—celebratory, educational, and sometimes critical or uncomfortable.
