Minneapolis, MN – October 8, 2018 — Creative Fundraising Advisors (CFA), a fundraising consultancy serving nonprofit organizations, welcomes Jake Muszynski as Senior Consultant. Jake has over a decade of experience serving nonprofit agencies, especially in higher education.

In his role, Jake will work with CFA clients on mission-critical fundraising implementation, as well as on major gifts strategy, planned giving and capacity building.

“Creative Fundraising Advisors is a well-respected firm with national projects and many stories of success, but it’s their individualized and careful approach with clients that prompted me to join the team. I’m excited to continue their work of advancing philanthropy in partnership with our clients,” Muszynski said.

Jake most recently led fundraising efforts for the Arts Quarter at the University of Minnesota, where he launched the first-ever comprehensive campaign for the Marching Band. As a significant part of the campaign, Jake created a crowdfunding campaign for the band following their performance in the Super Bowl LII (2018) Halftime Show. Campaign success allowed the Marching Band to make their first regular season road trip in 22 years.

Jake also gained major gift experience at the University of Northern Iowa, working primarily with the College of Business Administration, and with RuffaloCODY (now Ruffalo Noel Levitz) as a telemarketing consultant and manager. Jake attended Concordia College in Moorhead, MN, where he earned a B.A. in Communication and was a member of the Concordia Orchestra.

“We are excited Jake is joining our team. He is an energetic partner who will help Creative Fundraising Advisors serve our growing list of nonprofit clients,” said Paul Johnson, President.

Creative Fundraising Advisors, based in Minneapolis, MN, specializes in strategic fundraising and philanthropic services for nonprofit organizations. The firm has supported campaigns ranging from $1 million to $1 billion in education, the arts, social and human services.
